Reggae lovers enjoyed the soulful beats of some memorable live performances at this year’s Reggae Festival, held in the heart of the Three Rivers Retreat Centre in Porchfield.

Festivalgoers danced to the rhythm of The Ohmz, Lee-Lee Reid, Levi Collins, Don Smivvy, DJ Missi Strut, Azadi and many more.

After the event, co-organiser Dan Anderson commented: “Everything went well, and there was such a friendly vibe.  It was a positive and community-led festival where everyone came together – the team, the artists and especially the crowd – to make it such a magical day in the sunshine.

“We’re definitely doing it again.  In fact we’ve already got some acts lined up and plans to improve for next year.”

Apart from the reggae beats, there was something for everyone, with bouncy castles, magic from Huxley Hunt and captivating local performers including the reggae sensation, Rasta Mouse. It was quite clear that this yearly festival is family friendly and for all ages.  The food on offer was plentiful and included don burgers, jerk chicken and rice.

In fact, it was all so good that people are already booking for next year’s event!
